This lesson took place in 9th and 10th grade classes, following basic exercises related to figure drawing from a live model. The skills that they have have been built upon in an ascending order in terms of difficulty and sophistication. This project utilizes new and specific methods for figure drawing, while incorporating design elements and a strong sense of composition. The students were also encouraged to create some kind of narrative between the figures.
